With a gradient blue-green textured dial evoking the icy seas and the patterns of penguin footprints in the snow, this Special Edition automatic diver celebrates conservation efforts in Antarctica, the challenging environment in which the earliest Seiko diverās watches proved their excellence as essential equipment for the Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition (JARE). Recalling one of Seikoās most iconic diving styles, this rugged watch features a uni-directional rotating elapsed timing bezel as well as a secure screwdown caseback and crown. Providing reliable timing in the most demanding conditions, the 23-jewel automatic movement beats at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, with a power reserve of approximately 41 hours, and offers manual winding capability. With date calendar, and LumiBrite hands and markers, this high-intensity timepiece, following ISO standards for scuba diving at depths of up to 200 meters, is crafted of stainless steel with a blue-green silicone strap. 200m Water Resistant
